Choose The Best Soy Protein Shake

A delicious soy protein shake can be a nutritious and refreshing way to start your morning.  A soy protein shake can be a good source of protein if you choose the best soy protein shake.  Soy is a high quality protein that can meet all of our protein nutrition needs.  However, it is important to choose the right soy protein shake, one that contains enough soy protein and other nutrients to provide the nutritional benefits you want. And not all soy shakes are the same…

In fact, most typical soy protein powders or shakes only contain about 14 grams of soy protein with some soy shakes only containing about 7 grams of protein.  While just about any amount of protein in a shake or drink mix is a good thing, it is clear that most typical soy shakes can’t match the 20 grams of soy protein (40% of your daily value) found in a single Revival soy protein shake.  This is especially true when you take some of the other essential nutrients into consideration.  Not only do most typical soy shakes contain only about 14 – 15 grams of protein, they also only contain about 250 – 300 mg calcium.  In contrast, Revival soy shakes each contain 600 mg of calcium (60% of your daily value).  This means that a Revival soy protein shake typically provides more protein and more calcium than other soy protein shakes on the market.  That’s a lot of nutritional value in a single, delicious soy protein shake.

Another major difference is the soy isoflavone content of soy shakes.  Most of the typical soy protein shakes you find in the grocery store or online will not tell you how many soy isoflavones they contain.  So if you are looking for soy protein shakes to help ease the common discomforts of menopause like hot flashes and night sweats, it’s almost impossible to determine if any of the typical shakes will be beneficial.  On the other hand, each Revival soy protein shake provides about 160 milligrams of soy isoflavones and 20 grams of soy protein, an amount shown to support a woman’s midlife comfort and health. In fact, results from a peer-reviewed, published study at The Johns Hopkins Hospital found that women experienced significant reductions in hot flashes and nights sweats, compared to their starting baseline levels, after drinking one Revival soy protein shake per day for 12 weeks.

It is clear that Revival soy protein shakes offer greater nutritional benefits than many of the typical store-bought soy shakes.  So, if you are looking to get the greatest nutritional benefits from your daily shake, chose Revival Soy® shakes.   Blend one with your favorite liquid, favorite fruit, and a little ice for a morning breakfast treat that will help you get your day started in the right direction.
